It was on the reading portion. I was told and congradulated by my reading teacher. The next day I got a letter from Duke University. They were congradulating me on how I did on the SAT. It would be hard because I wouldn't have dont all the great things I have done so far in my family and life. My parents found the adoption place on this life adoption place and so if they had found another place than that could have changed our lives to. If my parents hadn't seen any of the video tapes of Mirela and I then it would of changed my life too because then they probally could of picked someone else to live with. I am very blessed and have a wonderful family and a wonderful life. I also am so glad I was adopted I feel very special and glad that someone thought of me and took me home to a wonderful family, good friends, and a life. Calina Burst

Something Small makes a Big Difference

I thought she be nuisance with my clothes and shoes. I thought I would have no more Jordan’s and start having Shaq O’Neil at Wal-Mart, but I still get stuff. I find some better when I saw her from the hospital. I found some better than material items. I didn’t care about shoes or name brand clothes only care about for her healthy and well being. My grandmother gave me all of his badges after he died five years ago. One badge that she gave me signified that he was a sergeant. Another badge that she gave me was the one that had his name on it, Glenn R. Beard. I especially like this one because the R in his middle name stood for Rufus, and I remember him telling my family that he hated his middle name so much that on everything he would just abbreviate it.
